Brief Description: The Guangxu Yuanbao silver coin, weighing 7 mace and 2 candareens (7.2 mace), was minted in 1907 by the Beiyang Mint (also known as the Beiyang Machinery Bureau). The obverse features the four Chinese characters "Guangxu Yuanbao" in the center, with "Made in Beiyang" above and "7 mace and 2 candareens" below. The reverse depicts a dragon, surrounded by the English words "Beiyang" (meaning "34th year of Guangxu"), with a dot on each side. The Guangxu Yuanbao was a currency circulating during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty. Besides the central Ministry of Revenue, nineteen different types of copper coins were minted by the provinces.
