Dragon silver dollars
Province, year, variety, dragon design, edge, weight and patina
Straight front and back photos, close-up edge photos and weight photos. Avoid flash glare.
Cleaning, edge damage, holes or damaged patina can directly reduce value.
Republic silver dollars
Year, signature variety, shoulder details, patina, strike and circulation marks
Portrait, reverse design, edge and any detail markers should each be photographed.
Counterfeits, repaired edges, artificial patina and heavy polishing need physical confirmation.
Old banknotes
Variety, serial number, grade, consecutive numbers, rarity, folds and repair traces
Lay flat for front and back photos, then add corners, serial numbers, stains and damage.
