The reverse side shows extensive glue residue on the decorations and inscriptions, affecting the appearance of the design. This piece was transferred to our collection by the Bank of Taiwan in 1966; glue residue was already present when it was acquired. "Guangxu Yuanbao" is a coin minted during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty (1871-1908).
