[Ancient Gold Appraisal] Buying and selling Xuantong 3rd Year Long-Bearded Dragon One Yuan Qing Dynasty Silver Coin

The Long-Bearded Dragon One Yuan Silver Coin of the Third Year of the Xuantong Reign (1911) was minted by the Tianjin Mint of the Ministry of Revenue during the late Qing Dynasty. Experienced foreign engravers were hired to meticulously design and mint this coin, intended as the national currency, resulting in various denominations and versions. The Long-Bearded Dragon One Yuan Silver Coin of the Third Year of the Xuantong Reign was one of the officially minted standard national currencies, not a trial coin as many privately compiled numismatic catalogs suggest. The obverse features the Chinese characters "大清银币" (Great Qing Silver Coin) within a beaded circle, with the Manchu characters for "大清银币" above and the Chinese characters "宣统三年" (Third Year of Xuantong) below. A symmetrical floral design flanks the obverse. The reverse depicts a coiled, long-bearded dragon amidst clouds, with the English inscription "ONE DOLLAR" at the bottom.
