Introduction: In ancient China, pavilions were often built near water, taking advantage of their elevated position to offer panoramic views. High-ranking officials, nobles, and literati would ascend these pavilions for leisurely strolls, gathering with guests from all directions, composing poems in response to each other, expressing sorrow, conveying emotions, whether in soft whispers or bold, heroic verses—all could be enjoyed to the fullest. Therefore, famous pavilions in ancient China are often associated with renowned poems and literary works, forming part of the culture of the Chinese literati. This set of miniature sheet stamps features a wood grain background, giving it an antique and elegant feel.
The first one is "Yellow Crane Tower". The Yellow Crane Tower is located on the top of Huanghuji in Wuchang, Hubei Province, on the south bank of the Yangtze River.

The second item is "Yueyang Tower". Yueyang Tower is the West Gate Tower of Yueyang City, Hunan Province. It is located at the Baling Pass at an altitude of 39 meters. It overlooks Dongting Lake, faces Junshan Mountain in the distance, connects to Wuxia Gorge in the north, and reaches Xiaoxiang in the south. It enjoys the reputation of "Dongting Lake is the best water in the world, and Yueyang Tower is the best tower in the world".
The third inscription reads "Tengwang Pavilion." The ruins of Tengwang Pavilion are located on the banks of the Gan River along Yanjiang Road in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. It was built by Li Yuanying, the younger brother of Emperor Taizong of Tang, when he was the governor of Hongzhou. Because Li Yuanying was enfeoffed as the Prince of Teng, the pavilion was named "Tengwang Pavilion" after his title.
The fourth stamp features "Penglai Pavilion". Penglai Pavilion stands on the cliff of Dan Cliff Mountain in Penglai, Shandong, facing the Bohai Sea to the south. The pavilions are high in the sky, surrounded by clouds and mist, and are known as a "fairyland".
